Mobbs House Lt Col. E.R. Mobbs DSO (1892-1898)

A Rugby International he was raised and led a company of footballers and sportsmen in the Great War. He was killed in action at Passchendaele in 1917. A statue was erected in his hometown of Northampton where the annual Mobbs Memorial match is played between East Midlands and the Barbarians.
